Experience and Credentials
I have had the privilege of working with many clients over the years in numerous settings providing individual and group therapy as well as assessment, referral, and crisis support. My understanding of stigma, trauma, and power and control dynamics in relation to how people adjust and cope provides me with a unique ability to assist individuals and couples in developing fresh perspectives and gaining a new understanding of themselves and the people in their lives.
Areas of expertise include supporting clients coping with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance Misuse, Grief, Domestic Violence, Caregiver Burnout, First Responder Stress, and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Although I utilize an eclectic tailored approach to each client, My approach is anchored in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills training with an emphasis on supporting clients to build on their strengths and improve their quality of life.
